Welcome to Room 103!

Hello, Room 103 Families!

My name is Becky Gillespie and I’m delighted to be your child’s second grade teacher this year!

I have had the opportunity to teach in several states and across the globe. I most recently taught first grade at USAG Humphreys, South Korea. I'm committed to making positive contributions in the lives of military-connected students and their families!

I have three children: Makenna (21), Peyton (19), and Grayson (13). Stanley, our mischievous goldendoodle, completes our family. I enjoy traveling, going to the movies, and cheering on the Chiefs, Royals, and UNC Tar Heels.

A life-long learner, I recently earned a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University. My Bachelor of Arts in Elementary was completed at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Heels! I believe any education, no matter where or how we learn, opens doors for us. As long as we’re willing to learn we create new opportunities for ourselves!

I look forward to working with each student that enters Room 103 this school year. It is my goal that all students feel seen, safe, and loved every single day!
