hi I'm Eddie and I'm Christina today will be but the awesome book fair the tinkercad challenges and the hearts apart program the first thing we'll be talking about is the book fair the book fair was last week and it was a great time Brooks range from small picture books for the younger ones and big novels for older kids let's see how it went with Angel and Jordan over to you too the book fair is an awesome week the book fair is for grades K through 6 there is not only books there for kids make them notepads posters erasers highlighters pens in war there was a competition to guess how many eyeballs are in the job the winners all creatures of any poster they wanted the fair was Monster they were monster decorations all over at the book fair we had volunteers and we want to thank them the book there was great hope you liked it boom boom boom boom boom where was great don't you think Christina yeah that looks really cool the next thing will be talking about is the Tinker cat challenges the tinkercad challenges is students play a virtual object on tinkercad and submit it to mr. Kern our teams left teacher mr. Karen will choose top ones to print it off 3D printer what's your name with the interviews  handwriting my life and I'm here with and we will be asking him questions about 15 for CAD challenges so how does a 3D printer work you can think of it the ink in the printer is plastic so that plastic gets filtered through the printer in the printer Heats it up and melt it and puts it down layer by layer and as that plastic cools and hardens it turns into your 3D printed object suggest a 3D printer print there are 3D printers that can print larger things but ours only Prince objects that are up to 150 cm tall and about 150 CM life okay  what are the challenges for and why do we have done the reason I gave the student challenges because only wanted to get students excited about 3D printing in about engineering and I thought it would be a great way for kids to get involved and it's also a great opportunity for them to sort of showcase their artistic talents and to Showcase their abilities on the engineering tinkercad this match with just best a football challenge for the students got to create something that has to do with football it could be their favorite team or something about their favorite player so we just finished that one and I'm currently printing those projects out and the next project is a Halloween project so anything that has to do with Halloween and that's due on October 30th  where do you do these challenges are really love technology engineering and I was hoping that students would fall in love with it same way I did so I wanted to give them something that would make them excited about it the same way I am  thank you next is Hearts apart some kids are not as lucky to be able to attend Hearts apart let's go over to Christina out with this Hearts apart interviews are some kids who are in this awesome program The Hartford Park program is for children with the complaint turn on the army marines Coast Guard Navy in Air Force because it gives comfort for children Parker pumper five children fun activities such as movie blowing carnival games with many more these activities give the support they need of the apps I think most military gives know what it feels like to not have one of your parents for a while so I really feel for those kids because it is the hardest part of that military child when your prayers are to pull you can be her support program or everyone is going through the same thing with you some kids are not as lucky to be able to check ArcLight it is a great program we had a great time and hope you did too just remember having a wonderful day and do your best in school
