Serene Pennington

 

My Name is Serene Pennington.

 

 Welcome class of 2022-2023. This is my eighth year of teaching Preschool at Bradley Elementary. This is my 25th year of teaching in an elementary school. I have both a BS and Masters in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas in the USA. I have also taught abroad in Egypt at an International School in Cairo as well as two places in Germany Baumholder and Vilseck. I have taught several grades from Pre-K to third grade. I have also taught college level Early Childhood classes for Central Texas.

 

   You might have guessed I was a Military Spouse. My husband retired from active duty here at Ft. Leavenworth 3 years ago. We fell in love with Ft. Leavenworth and the schools when we came to ILE back in 2008. I started out as both a parent volunteer and substitute.

 

    I am so happy to be teaching here on post where all 3 of my children attended in the past. I love the schools on post and truly feel blessed to be here at Bradley Elementary to give your child a great school experience.
