I am thrilled to be part of the USD207 family as the Gifted Facilitator! The Army brought my family to Fort Leavenworth from North Carolina, where I taught for 12 years. I graduated from the teacher education program at Fayetteville State University, and earned my Master's of Art in Education from University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I've been busy during my 5 years in Kansas, and have earned a Master's of Science in Special Education (Gifted) and am currently working on a PhD in Educational Leadership at the University of Kansas. I love teaching and strive to provide my students with the individual enrichment that will help them be successful.
