Leader of the Week

Each student will have the opportunity to be the Leader of the Week.  A copy of the Leader of the Week paper will be sent home with your student the week before it is his/her turn.  Below is a list of what your student can bring/expect for the week.  If it is easier to send everything in at once at the beginning of the week, then you may do so.

Monday:  Send pictures, artwork, good papers, awards, etc. that your student would like for the class to see.  This will be displayed on the Leader board.  Trophies or other items can be displayed on the counter near the board as well.

Tuesday:  Your child will read his/her favorite short story to the class.  (Please practice this with your child at home.)  We would also love it if you, the parents, would write a short story about the student!!  (Where and when they were born, some fun things they have done, or anything else you would like to share about your child.)

Wednesday:  Students will read the Ten Interesting Facts sheet (attached).  These facts can be written with the help of parents.  This is always one of the favorites!

Thursday:  Classmates will write messages to the Leader of the Week.

Friday:  All things will be returned.

Thank you for helping to make this a special week for your child!
