Bridgett Kostelecky
Welcome! My name is Bridgett Kostelecky, and I am so excited to be your child's pre-k teacher this year. I look forward to partnering with you to make this a fun, engaging, and successful year of learning and growth! Let's start with a little information about my educational journey. I earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Southwestern College and a Master's of Science Degree in Educational Psychology from Purdue University. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to teach both pre-k and kindergarten in Alabama and Kansas.
This year will be my sixth year teaching at Bradley Elementary, four of those years I taught kindergarten. This school year marks my second-year teaching pre-k at Bradley, and I am thrilled to continue working with our youngest learners. Teaching is more than a career—it's my passion. I believe the early childhood years are the foundation for a lifetime of learning. During these important years, children develop the academic, social, and emotional skills that set them up for future success. I am committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and joyful classroom where every child feels valued, confident, and excited to learn.
When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. My husband and I have been happily married for twenty-one years, and we have two amazing sons. Braden is 19 years old, and our youngest, Trenton, is 7 years old and in second grade. I am truly excited to get to know your family and to watch your child learn, grow, and thrive this year. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this exciting journey!
Warmly,
Mrs. Bridgett Kostelecky
