Rhiannon Thompson
Hello! I’m Mrs. Thompson, your child’s 4th grade teacher, and I’m thrilled to be part of this school community. Originally from Marshall, Missouri, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Missouri and a master’s in Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I bring experience teaching 4th and 5th grades, as well as serving as a summer school elementary principal. My husband and I live here on post! I’m excited to work together to make this year one full of learning, growth, and fun!
I believe every student has unique strengths and potential, and my role as an educator is to create a supportive and engaging environment where all learners feel valued and motivated to grow. I strive to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning by making lessons relevant, interactive, and inclusive. I am committed to building strong relationships with my students to understand their individual needs and encourage their confidence and creativity. Together, we build a classroom community where respect, collaboration, and perseverance lead to success both inside and outside of the classroom.
