Tina Grigsby

Welcome to a new year here at Bradley!  My name is Mrs. Grigsby and I will be your child's preschool teacher this year. This will be my 12th year teaching preschool and my 9th year here at Bradley. I have my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Emporia State University and my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Early Childhood from Concordia University-Portland. I have three children: Coda (11th grade), Lillian (5th grade), and Isabella (1st). I love running, collecting Elmo's and being outdoors.

Our classroom does not have a bathroom and we will have one, maybe two class bathroom breaks. We will have to use the bathrooms by the 5th grade hallway. I will ask that you please bring a change of clothes for your child. Sometimes accidents happen and sometimes we get dirty from snack or during art. Since we are only half day, we will not serve breakfast or lunch but we do offer a snack to the children. Feel free to send a snack with your child if you like. If your child is allergic to anything, please let me know. I’m sure the nurse has it on file, but I like to have it here in the classroom when I am gone and have a sub. When you drop off or pick up, you will need to sign in and out your child. This is so we can keep track. If you need someone else to pick up or drop off, they must be in your emergency contact list on skyward and please remind them that they will need to bring a photo id with them. The doors will open 5 minutes before class starts. We will definitely celebrate birthdays, so feel free to bring treats. Feel free to visit or volunteer anytime. We love having visitors! I will try to have an events calendar every month with topics for the week and birthdays. If you have any questions, you can always call me (at the school ext. 1130) or send me an email: [email protected]. I am looking forward to a great year of learning and making friends!
